Earth Bound

Into the sky, I roam and fly
Always to see the light of day
Never to be washed away
Never to know the pain i see
to the people suffering below me

Always to hear the screams of pain
Always to see death in vain
Always to people live with shame
Every day to wonder why
Every day flying in the sky

But one day I began to stray
I became tired and began to fall
Bagan to tumble from heights most tall
The next thing i knew was only the burning pain
Agony, scorching, searing pain
I layed there for hours wishing to die
On the ground starting to fry
The sun so hot, the ground so flat
My deadly prison is the place i sat

Until one day, i'm so happy to say
Some came by and took me away
Where i was heading i did not care or know
All i wanted was to escape my earthly woe

Soon i fell asleep, but i did not care i did not weep
For sleep is only the practice for my vow of escape that i would keep
But when i awoke the pain was gone, I have healed, forced to weild my eathly bonds
This isn't what I wanted, I wanted to be free.
Is there not anyone who can see?

Trapped in my worldly prison for the world to see
Is there no one who will take pity on me?
To end this life behind this cage
To stop my life, this book of mine on this very page.
I don't wish to wait, but i do not have the key
Someone please anyone come set me free.
