No particular motivation here; I'd bought a cheap pack of large canvases and some copper paint at the hardware store and wanted to try out both. Normally, romantic pictures are not my thing, but this had some interesting aspects:
- laying down substance with plaster (cliffs) and silicone (waves and clouds)
- the sky gradient
- sea structure (using metallic paint and shading it)
