Empress of the Heavens

Her ears hear the silence of soundless Space,
She is so Human, yet belongs to no race;
Her fingers are unfrozen in a place of no heat,
Her heart is protected by a sparkling fleet;
She stands on nothing, yet stands above all,
The moon rising, the stars that fall;
She is the light you pray to in the sky,
For She is the Empress, never to die.
