This is the first demo release for my game, "The Quest".
it spans from the very beginning of the game (just after the opening cinematic, which is not part of this demo) to the first boss battle which ends the demo as soon as you defeat him).
Check journal updates for more information regarding the rest of the game still yet to come!
Though this is a demo release, it's still not totally complete, and I'd like everyone to give me as much feedback as possible regarding bugs, playability, anything.
Current Suggestions / bugs:
1. Various character animations look a little strange
2. Character does not animate if moving diagonally or moving while attacking.
3. Inventory system is a bit inconvenient for certain items, such as keys.
4. Certain objects should overlap the character, such as south-walls. (this will require some in-depth remapping that is already taking place as we speak)
5. The game makes no notification of items being removed from player inventory upon use.
6. The icon for "Inventory" may be changed to something besides a sword
7. Once reported that the player was teleported back to the very start of the game while dying during the boss fight
(This is not the last or only demo i will be releasing regarding this game!)

woah that was really good, the only bug i noticed was when pressing two walking buttons the character would kind of "float" other than that it's going great =D

Attacking with Victor, the object I attacked was destroyed before he got around to actually swing the sword.
random suggestion; the feet of the main characters could use some fbf animation while walking.

Will post further bugs (if any) in replies to this comment.
Using Nigel to flip a switch, the switch flipped before the lightning struck.
Same problem as last comment, in other words.
There's an easy solution to this;
Whatever code you have set to the press of the button,
move it to the attacking animation's impact frame along with an absolute reference.

Really liking this. When fighting the boss thought, he keeps attackign the same way that's kinda lame, but then he started to change directions a bit which is gret =p
Keep it up I'd say
