Brent Wilson, a player in the Thousand-Year Folly...and quite possibly still existing in Rinzei's work-in-progress 'Saint & Sinner'. I's not sure.


An initial reference was used to position the size of the hand and its angle in relation to the shoulder, but the rest...lotsa blablaphotoshop.

"Through Me" is an extraordinary example of black and white work. Elle has used almost no outlines at all, relying on shadow alone to form the shapes that make up the figure in a way that feels full-rendered and dimensional, giving off all the detail of form and expression you'd find in a full-color painting. The complicated angle and foreshortening only add to the sense of drama, and the work is finished off by punching this stark figure in contrast with a busy, deliciously-textured background, making the whole piece come together with an impact that packs a serious punch.

Wow, this really stood out to me seeing it in a little icon. Seeing it up close is even more impactful. The perspective on this is astounding... the shadow is intense...and I love the blotted ink look of it. Very powerful piece.
