So this was my first experiment at a improvised stand up comedy. The stories are all true, and I think they're funny, but I need to work on the delivery. I definitely noticed a lot of "umm"s and "you know"s in there, which is pretty unprofessional, but at least this is giving me practice.
Maybe next time I try one of these, I'll rehearse it several times before I record instead of going cold turkey. Either that or I'll actually write down a list points to touch on, but that seems less fair since live comedians usually don't have the luxury of having their notes in front of them. That is a luxury reserved almost exclusively for VO artists =D.
