Marker Colouring advanced techniques

Yes, it's finally done!!! My promised marker tutorial is finished and ready!

It took me literally ages to do and I hope it's of some use to you guys. Well, it's a rather long yet in depth tutorial on "how to use markers". Please enjoy!

Not a traditional piece of artwork but rather a tutorial, PurpleBlossom's Marker Coloring guide is an in-depth, wonderful way to learn how to handle alcohol-based markers. If you aren't into using markers it's still worth a read, as someday you might be (and learning new artistic techniques never hurt anyone).

I'll probably never use markers, but i feel so compelled to comment on this becuase.. your colouring process is damn awesome, and you planned everything out so nicley! The finished product is so beautiful~ and the closeups of the bracelets were my favourite~
after reading, kinda makes me was some.

Makes me wanna work with my markers again I have Prismacolor markers though, so the quality doesn't always come out as nicely as it does with copics

Lovely tutorial!! And I adore that picture

This is so informative, thanks for making us all such a nifty marker tutorial =D I have GOT to get myself a blender and some of those Copic Multiliners now.

a very good tutorial, although being so specific to one brand makes it harder for people who use other brands to copy some of the techniques (ie, not all brands carry the same colours despite the names being the same. cool grey 4 for deleter is not cool grey for for prismacolour is not cool grey 4 for copic etc)

but this is excellent. i highly approve
