a little more than a month ago I was in a place half-way across the world..a place I loved before I ever even touched that soil- Zambia. it started as a project; somthing to do on a saturday but becuase of what I thought was trivial fun the people there couldent stop thanking me and my group for. this picture shows where a family or two would live their lives. belive me when I say...THIS WAS IT. no tv, no sterio, and until me and my group did somthing about it no fresh water for miles. I titled this "laid bare" becuase this is their lives- real peoples lives and this is all they had. and they willingly invited us to share in what they had. they gave us places to sleep and food to eat [always], even though they might only have that hut and two chickens..I bet this sounds preachy and over done and for that I'm sorry..I just dont know how to say it any other way

I love the lighting you've captured in this one. Its like the ground is a nice clay orange and its with very blue sky. Nice!
