Sockbaby!
This is probably the only other Doug TenNappel drawing that is not EWJ.
So, check it out, look up Sockbaby and LIKE it.
Anyway, here's my really long and boring analysis:
Sockbaby analysis
Shot 1: Lasts for about 2 seconds.
1.) This is a Full shot. Ronnie Cordova just won the battle and is positing, his entire body is shown as he does his heroic pose.
2.) Profile view. Ronnie Cordova’s body is shown at a profile view so we can he all of his 70’s suit glory!
3.) The use of sound. As Ronnie strikes a pose a “whipping†sound is heard and his “big band note†theme is played.
Shot 2: Lasts 7 seconds.
1.) Mise-en-scene is 3/4th. Ronnie is inside his car and is talking to his chum, Burger. We can see both Ronnie and Burger in the same shot.
2.) This is a Medium shot. We get to see from Ronnie and Burger’s top up. They are in a car so this is all we would see if we were standing right outside of it.
3.) To add effect music is briefly used. Ronnie and Burger talk about the events that transpired. The car won’t come on and Ronnie explains that he left the radio on because of how much he likes the country music scene as he poses again.
Shot 3: Lasts for about 1 second!
1.) This is a close-up. The close-up is used so we can see Davis the Grey’s facial expressions.
2.) To further enjoy the expression on his face, he is not shown in profile or 3/4, but in full frontal!
3.) The coup de grace is the actor’s mouth and eyes squashing and stretching as if he was a cartoon character, so therefore they are using exaggeration.
Shot 4: Lasts for about 2 seconds.
1.) Once again the full frontal is used, so we can see every muscle of Ronnie’s face bend reality.
2.) Ronnie starts to yell, squint his eyes, make his face askew and widen his mouth. This is clearly exaggeration.
3.) Just so we can ultimately enjoy more face stretching, we are provided with a blatant close-up.
Shot 5: This one lasts for about 2 seconds as well.
1.) 3/4t of the mise-en-scene is used, so we can see Davis’ mouth go agape as he gasps, we can also see his cheekbones, which results in making his face funny to look at.
2.) Exaggeration once again, this is the last time though. Davis makes a really wacky face, it’s for the funny.
3.) No funny exaggeration can be complete without having a nice close-up. This is provided for us so we can see just how much a human face can stretch.
Shot 6: This shot lasts for 4 seconds.
1.) We see both Ronnie and Davis as their battle concludes. We see 3/4th of Ronnie’s front and 3/4th of Davis’ back. A contrast, something to do with good and evil or something.
2.) A full shot is used so that we see both of Ronnie and Davis’ entire bodies on the screen. At the end of this shot, Davis’ body collapses.
3.) Finally a basic camera angle! In this shot we see at eye level angle, it seems as if though we were standing a couple of feet away. It’s reminiscent to the old western shots, where the good and bad guy face off at the one dusty road that runs across the town.
Shot 7: This one lasts 2 seconds.
1.) The big bad guy of the movie is really, really tall. To make the illusion that he is even taller, a low angle technique is used.
2.) I believe that this is used often, whenever a bad guy is shown, it increases his “bad-guyitude†by putting him in a 3/4th mise-en-scene. I think it works for this shot.
3.) Ronnie is down! The bad guy looms over him! To add further tension, music is used to heighten the suspense!
Shot 8: This one is 3 seconds.
1.) All the fight sequences, as well as some of the not so fighty scenes, are shot in handheld fashion. This fight scene is not different. It wobbles and moves as each punch is thrown.
2.) With each landing blow, a “POW†sound is used to further enhance the “power†that each punch has.
3.) This is all shot in a 3/4th mise-en-scene oddly, enough. The camera wobbles in a 3/4th angle so we can see the fake punches fakely land.
Shot 9: This one lasts 3 seconds.
1.) A close-up is used on Sockbaby’s sock face. This is done so we can see his “mouth†move.
2.) A full frontal is used, so we can fully see Sockbaby’s face from the front… Glorious.
3.) Without sound we would be unable to experience the magnitude of the savior to the sock people as he tantalizes us with his enticing word of wisdom: “Enchurito!â€
Shot 10: This last one lasts 3 seconds too!
1.) Another low angle to show Ronnie in all his victory pose glory.
2.) A close-up is a must for heroic victory shots as well.
3.) Just like in both number 3’s on “shot 1†and “shot 2â€, music is used to show both the “whipping†pose sound and Ronnie’s theme to show that he won!

The pictures are cool. But I have no idea what's happening. Probably has something to do with not reading the description, which was definitely a case of tl;dr. :(
