Omgosh...I can't believe I finished this!!
I tried to finish it all summer, but failed miserably.
If i add up the random hours taken here and there, i think it might add up to about a week or so.
wahh, i can even die now. ='D
*ahem anyway.
the reason this picture took so long was because the actual size of this picture is something like 25.5" by 33 inch"
this is far from perfect because it's actually my first attempt at a realistic portrait of a REAL LIFE person. please don't bite my head off.

I love the work with contrast in the hair and on the face, it is so lifelike and deep, though a touch of lighter pencil would have been nice it is awesome as is! I love the hand and wrist/arm as it has so much depth and detail, it is beautiful and so realistic, the way the hand is posed as well makes this absolutely gorgeus! I cannot stress enough how much I like this piece, it is so beautiful, and the work on the clothes, well that is amazing also! Such detail! You have done exceptionally well with this and should be proud! Keep up the fantastic work!!
