This is a chain mail ring made of Bright Silver in the Half Persian 4-1 weave. The chain is very small, fitting easily around the finger in a perfect fit.

I quite like this as a personal jewelry piece because it flexes a little with normal hand motion, unlike a band of solid metal which doesn't give at all.

This was my first venture into a precious metal; they are _very_ expensive x.x

Of the several chain mail pieces recently submitted by this multi-talented artist, this ring instantly caught my eye - and not just because of the bright silver. The tiny, intricate linking here shows a great deal of skill and the chosen weave really works surprisingly well to form the ring. This is really a stunning little piece. Some of today's more unimaginative jewelry designers could really learn something from this.
