Digital Dauughter's Color

Funny story... me and my friend Zhilo were talking, when suddenly he whips out a new drawing he's done of his character's "Daughter." This term is used lightly because he actually created/constructed her to further his work in creating the 'ultimate intelligence' since the man is such a genius. She, his daughter being Ranis, the loli one, has all his same abilities plus a few of her own, but as the story goes, she doesn't have much of a personality just yet.
The cutie in the background is my (Betatronic's) daughter character, incidentally, made for almost the same purpose. This is notably the first real color work I've done of her, and all the line work was drawn and then prettified in Illustrator.

Since we mechanical geniuses both had the same idea in mind, I decided a scene with the two of them would be cute. I was going for Naobae (beta's daughter) to have a more motherly look, but I couldn't figure out how, so I just did this instead. She also looks a bit more confident than usual. Normally, she's a shy little thing with her hair covering her bizarre eyes. It's still just as cute.
