Many apologies to anyone who is tired of Mikado fanart!
(When I obsess over something, I go all the way, hehe!)
Again, this is from Essgee Entertainment's production of The Mikado, a Gilbert & Sullivan opretta. Hilarity ensues! I mean, how can you not love David Gould as Mikado, with four huge flags attached to his back. Plus, he does Elvis impressions and moonwalks. Woo!
For this drawing I referenced a pose he does right after saying 'Fwhhhhhoo! Japan!' He is absolutely covered in tassels, and the easily distracted Ko Ko stops groveling to bat playfully at them.
I guess one good thing about all of these fanarts is that I get better at coloring in openCanvas. And at drawing people. Plus, epic event files of DOOM are always fun to watch while listening to Mikado.
Playlist I put together with all the videos in order:

This is a really amazing painting.
I kinda joined the Mikado club on a whim since I am actually a member of a Gilbert and Sullivan troupe, and then I watched the production on Youtube. Excellent stuff.
