A commissioned character theme!
Starting as an almost familiar style of piano playing (The Exorcist Anyone?), it develops into a rather intense ensemble led by the strings and choir. I had a lot of fun with the Gong effects as well, it's amazing how many different things that single instrument can do... like the washes and crashes. The slow section I think is my favorite part of the score. I'm still not going to get over just how expressive the strings are in SOP. Listen and hear for yourself. To finish, the orchestra then builds up again, staccato strings, horns, harp, drum, trumpets, choir... It's got nearly the entire orchestra.
Final thoughts: I'm pretty happy with the result after some tweeking and altering to fit the character. Overall I'm still most proud of the middle section with the piano and violin. The end section, the snare drum ends up a little out of time, because I went and performed the string staccato straight from a keyboard... but it still seems to flow well. What do you think?

I agree...the slow part is my favorite.
In some ways, it reminds me of the work I've heard from
when she does music. Don't judge her by her sound/equipment quality--her ideas are really nice.

Two words: Resident Evil.

It sounds rather grim in the beginning, with darker strings, then evolves into... Tim Burton? Then... Lord of the Rings?
...In a simple sentence, it rocks.

I rather enjoyed it.
Funny fact, I believe the last 5 notes are identical to the last notes in the credits of Star Fox (SNES).
Spirit Archer Says:
Never watched the Exorcist (scares the CRAP outta me) but it sounds so powerful. D: Like they're running away from a vampire or something. Certainly for Halloween purposes, the beginning. xD Why do you not work for a movie studio and score for them? D<
vampire Miyu Says:
it's really beautifull and kinda spooky
it^^*favs*
As usual astounding, though there is one spot (now that I'm listening to it over and over again) that reminds me of how it just sorta jumps from light to dark. Might want to make it more of a flow dear.

As i said before, You should write atmospheric music for films.
Very nicely done.

Beautiful, I agree the beginning has a feel of 'Tubular Bells' about it, the piano and violin passage is stunning, and the build up to the end is brilliant. The orchestral sounds are amazing, and you certainly know how to use them!
