during my last wk of freedom b4 school, i'm doing (or try to) portraits of asian celebities. this one is Danson Tang, buuut totally does not look like him...>_<'' any suggestions guys?
Ohhh, faaantastic. i adore cross-hatching. and asian celebrities. I tried to draw Wang Leehom once but failed miserably. As for the drawing...contrary to that other person, i happen to think that his features (especially the eyes) are way too crisp. everything is rather sketchy and unrefined and that one eye is just so detailed. I think adding a bit more contour around the eyes would make it better. Or I could just be making up jfkdfajgfdg
oh my! this is gorgeous! i absolutly love how you shade everything. it makes it looks os stunning and amazing! his expression is very unusal with the normal. which makes it look soo unique! great pencil work there! i love his hair and how u shade it! nice work

No suggestions I'm afraid. Perhaps try making the eyelid line crisper? I'm not too good at drawing ethnic-specific looks I'm afraid. ^^'
