This has a interesting perspective distortion.
When I look at the bottom of the picture the perspective is straightforward, but as my eyes rise to the top I feel as if the perspective changes first looking slightly up at Shas, and then all out to the ceiling to see that painting of his second form.

You do the most awesome things with base photos. I love the background, and the highlights on his clothes. The lighting on the whole piece is great, as are the colors.
I really enjoy all the brassy glows--makes everything feel very rustic and metallic. I do kind of wish more of it was in more focus, especially the detail of the nose, but is still all fabulous.
