Another for my art class. This was really difficult for some reason, I guess because again I didn't really use lines, just a sketch I did for reference like the other one. It turned out alright, close enough to what I imagined and the lightning isn't too horrible, although the shading on the tree could have been better, but oh well, I tried.
I thought of this when we had a nasty storm the other night. I really like lightning, the look of it anyway. It's just so cool and fascinating to me, well, so do other disasters like tornadoes. That's why I think, since I've been trying to decide on a concentration or theme for my drawings and paintings, I think I'm going to do bad weather/natural disaster type theme. I have a list of things, so hopefully I can find a way to do them all.
