One layer, one brush. No effects. An awesome challenge.

Tranquil Waters Says:

Wow! That's very good work
Seriously if I only had a tiny portion of your skill

I love how you did the forest BG and the composition is very nice

Ladre Says:

Wow this is truly amazing~ Everything looks so THERE you know? And your color choices are just perfect. My eyes keep shifting from one amazing thing to another >.> The sky and trees... church... wagon, characters and grass are all awesome. I wish I had color sense like that, makes the environment really look convincing and atmospheric. Also the textures (Especially on the wood things) are wonderful. This pic really should be on the front page~ it deserves it a lot more than anything I've ever gotten on the front page >> Definitely my favorite of your pics.

Cube Melon Says:

I love the trees. What the hell, I love everything in this picture. It's amazing that you were able to do all this with no layers.

lilmimichan Says:

MajKirai Says:

Oooh, an anime PAINTING. Awesome!
I love to see good anime art that has elements of composition and such. This is great.
And it's cool to know you only used one layer, I'm so paranoid I'd screw something up that I'd add layer after layer after layer. xD
Great work, it looks like you worked hard. I think my favorite part is the trees and clouds, the way they fade into the distance.

Dayum...I wish I had enough patience to color something like this. And even if I did, I probably wouldn't do as good a job. xD Great work, by the way...I love how you did the church and the wood especially.

Inyro Says:

One layer? That's like... impossible. Purely impossible. I can't make an eye on one layer, let alone an entire masterpiece.

Major kudos to you.

zhicago Says:

I like it a lot, but there are a few things that bug me... ie the detail is very well focused on the female (especially in the hair), but the foreground of the boy is very soft and there is much less detail in the hair to compare it to the female. The colors are excellent, however.

Also, the grass brush hurts the image, I think. But other than that, great job!
