Terra
I have no home, I am a traveller. Every city, every place, is left in ruins, all because of me. My name is Terra. When I was 11, I discovered I was cursed. Cursed with tremendous power, which I could not control.
Years past, and as I got older, my power grew to the limit that I could hold. I had always been bullied, my whole life for no reason. On my 13th birthday the worst happened. The day proceeded, and those who saw me teased me. Then it happened. Everything was just too much, and I could not take it anymore. And before I could stop myself, I was overcome by my rage, the only thing I feared.
I never knew how much power I had held, until the rage overpowered me, and I destroyed the city. I destroyed everything, every little thing. Homes, shops, parks, schools. Everything. Gone. Only dust, dirt and rubble remained.
From then on, I was on my own. No family, no friends. No home. Nothing. I was an outcast, living on whatever I could find, and in wherever I could live in. I travelled from place to place, city to city, helping out where ever I could; however I could.
Finally I came across a small city. Jump City. I walked around for a while, and found a small cave overlooking the sea. It was beautiful, and I thought of my city. My home. It had been 3 years since I destroyed my home. 3 years since everything happened. I was still having trouble keeping control over my powers. Every now and then, I would still have a very sudden outburst, but I was doing my best to keep everything under control.
I’d had enough. I couldn’t bear to think about that city ever again. I pushed it away, into the back of my mind, and went for a walk. I decided to go exploring, and set out. I wasn’t walking for very long, when I discovered I was being followed. I quickened my pace, only to find a giant scorpion stampeding down the narrow canyon I had journeyed down. Then the Titans came. I used my power to crush the scorpion, and met them. I was asked questions: where I was from, how I got to the city, and was offered a place to stay.
