The Lioness

The Lioness

Sweat stuck to my skin,
The cool night air sent chills down my back
I grew tense, waiting, watching
My claws dug into the earth
I forced my muscles to loosen
My prey grew closer, closer
My muscles flexed slightly
I flew through the sky,
Leaping at the unsuspecting Antelope
The warm blood filled my mouth,
I ate as much as I could,
And buried the poor animal,
Hoping I would have enough food,
To feed my two little cubs
Their sweet faces filled my mind,
I ran back,
To my home, my family, my cave

I love these kinds of things. It's like role playing, but anyone who reads it, is the creature.
