Well, the main character, Ichigo, here was a normal boy who has always been able to see ghosts, especially after his mother's death that he claims he killed. Hurray. Now, Rukia, the girl, happens to be VERY POWERFULLLLLL. However, she protects Ichigo from getting killed, because he reminds her of someone called Kaien. DA. Also, Ichigo is nooooooot really that strong. He gets his ass always whopped, one way or another. Hell, even when he wins, he gets his ass whopped lolololol.
OH! BLEACH isn't an action anime really! It's more like a controversial topic about Hollows and all.. Btw, he gets Death Gods powers, not demon. ; So, yah, you should continue to seeeeeeeeee BLEACH and see why Rukia was so damn weak and what not. lol
Besides, Ichigo has only one style called slice and dice, while for example, Abarai Renji and Byakuya has tons of other styles. And it always fun to see the hero weeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. <:

Like the Ichigo thing; how he miraculously arrives on time. Come to think of it, that happens in a shitload of the episodes; someone's about to get killed and BOOM! Cue the hero coming in to witness the scene and distract the big bad monter. o.<
