Jah, she be finished.

This is my character, Yukira, dressed as Alice from Alice In Wonderland. It's my very favorite book of all time so... this is what happens when I read it again and again.
In any case, I'd appreciate it if you guys would give me your opinion on the tones and such. Manga is what I want to so for a career so I need to know how I'm doing so I can get better. *braces herself* BTW, thanks to my wonderful commentaries from the line art, I am aware that the hands are too big.

(See? I don’t notice these things on my own.

)
Hope you like it!
ALSO... (This is a totally shameless extra but I'm saying it anyways.
) I'm hosting a contest right now. GO HERE (click) to see the journal with all of the details in it if you would like.

Very beautiful toning on this. It looks great because the lineart is nice and thin so it pops out nicely ^^ also the tones and patterns aren't distracting at all, which is what I do sometimes
this looks really great! Keep it up ^^

The lineart was nice, but this turned out really great! It's simple but detailed, and the eyes really stand out. This is Wonderland-like, and then some!

I really do love the way you did those gloves..
I'm not a pro with tones, but I think the background is way too different from the rest of the tones used to fit without any visual confusion..If that makes sense.
Catgir Says:
man I wish I could do better on tones...I dunno I can't seem to figure out how to do them.

Nicely done though...love the pretty character
Makire Says:
Wow, you did a really nice job with both the lineart and tones. Whenever I try to do make detailed lineart it always comes out too thick. You're picture's amazing, though =D
