While wandering through my files in Finale, I came across this piece I had worked on for my project. After deciding that I needed more time to rethink the project completely, I forgot about this work in my folder. Originally, I was going to make this piece two-tracks in one, so I had left it unfinished. What I had left finished was the first track.

After listening to it again, I found it captured the main themes which I had created when I first started the project. From this, I realized that this was a reminder of what I had worked on. So now I submit to SA one more Aeterna track. However, although this is the last track from the old project, this is not the end of Aeterna. The new pieces of Aeterna shall be much more meaningful once I have found what I seek.

So now, I wish for you to enjoy this. Feel free to comment.

My god.....

That was so heart touchingly beautiful and SO full of passion I had to say something on this piece and tell you I was astounded with the entirity of it as it was staggeringly good and surprisingly epic at the same time.

I had a lot of thoughts rushing through my head when heard this and could only say that I DO hope you keep this peice in your project as it befits a movie and a story worth telling a thousand times over...my dear friend...rare is it that music from others moves me the way this has done...

I applaud your work and bow to your skill in the use of strings.

Mayhaps I would ask for a download so that I to may render its beauty with a rendition of my own.

I thank you for sharing this overlooked master piece...I SHALL indeed see to it it gets the attention it SO deserves.

Excellent indeed

DPK Says:

Shoda is very right, everything about this piece moved my every being in a different direction. I don't usually feel that, but this piece really befits what the project is about, IMHO. I was near tears when the piece ended, it felt like something or someone had died, and this would be the perfect music to play for such a depressing situation. I will see that this gets not only front paged, but indeed featured and masterpieced. This piece deserves every last bit of it. Such impressive work needs to be paid attention to more.

DavidN Says:

Beautiful sound on this! (I'm so behind with listening to people's work here...) It has a lot of strength behind it even with just the strings, and the soft horn section near the end is... wonderful. Genuinely sounds like a film score - the last high note is pretty chilling.

I'm looking forward to when you get the rest of Aeterna sorted out. :)

You've been listening to Barber, haven't you?

Excellent work. Unless it's to be immediately succeeded by another movement, I would have ended it on Bb rather than F just because it'd give it more of a sense of closure (Which, unless I've misinterpreted your aim, would be befitting in such a song because being that the piece is so drastically sad to begin with, ending it based around the tonic would take any last shred of "hope" the listener might have and dash it to an amorphous pulp against a metaphorical cement-mixer. If it was to be left open-ended moreso, I feel a minor ninth would be befitting.).

Hot damn, I'm talkative tonight. To iterate and reaffirm the general consensus, this was awesome. "Awesome" in the sense that allows me to not misuse the word "epic" (filthy teenagers.) It's epic in a colloquial sense. But to me, it's more or less just good ol' fashioned KICK ASS.

GodOfThunder Says:

Damn, this gave me shivers up and down the spine. Nice work!
