It's not that hard choice, is it?

It's not that hard choice, is it?

Every time a general thinks
The morals of the army sink
But they keep fighting on and on
Because they think it has to be done

Every time a doctor thinks
The will of the patient sinks
But he keeps fighting on and on
Because he knows he doesn’t have long

Every time a soldier finds death
The entire world will be mislead
About all the fights and deaths
If we knew, we’d stop it instead

Every time a patient finds death
The whole time they were mislead
About the pain present every day
Till the last breath, it didn’t go away

Every time the wars stopped at last
They start over again, twice as fast
How long has this to continue yet?
How boring have those deaths to get?

Every time the pain has stopped at last
It starts all over again, twice as fast
How long has this to go further on?
Do we need to wait till we all are gone?

Just think simple and think clear.
Think about what we most fear.

This is dedicated to ALL who suffer due cancer, not only the people who actually have it, but also the relatives and friends from those people. They suffer almost equally and that's a thing I unfortunatly know.

Think about what you most fear. Think about it really hard. Then read this poem. This author has time and time again stunned me with their poetry, so please take the time to read and check them out!

For the most part it does seem futile to live when death is coming closer and closer every day, but we have to remember what good we are here. Who we can help, what we can help, what we are meant to help.

It's for reasons like that which we fight for. Fight to survive. Others accept death willingly, believing that it's easy to get out, that it's the means of destruction, anyway, and that they have nothing left to live for. Everybody has something to live for, whether they have a second more to live or ten years, it makes little difference.

skinnyvee Says:

You know, I'm impressed that you write about things that really matter. There's a universal message--a truth, if you will--in a lot of your work, and that holds true here.

(You have FP, by the way.)

Merina Says:

true and deep for sure..

Parva lupa Says:

Wonderful written! Not only it's true, but also the way of writing makes my mind recall images of war and images of people who have come to deal with either cancer or any terrible desease at all where they fight against it. Great job!
