Hehehe, this is the best artwork that I've ever done, for three reasons: time, effort, and Edward. I spent about six or seven hours on it, cared deeply about what I was doing, and could not forgive myself if I messed up his beautiful face.
As you might have guessed, I have recently become totally and utterly obessed with FMA! (and Edward...) Only been that way for one month, but I've already spent all of my money buying the whole series, the video games, and seven of the manga. (now I'm OUT of money...) Also want to order a state alchemist pocket watch, but I'll get to that later.
What's really FRUSTRATING though, is that I can't figure out how to work this STUPID FRICKIN VISTA! I can't seem to make the scanner work, and I had to take a picture of my drawing. I was able to do some lighting adjustments and stuff that made it look better, but STILL. I HATE IT!
As soon as I figure out how to work the scanner, I'll have the real thing up.
Now, about the picture itself.
Hardest part: Ed' automail and jacket tied for difficulty on shading.
First time drawing anime of any sort, even though I copied it from a book.
Oh, yeah, the picture I used is the one on page 17 of Alchemy text six that came with the sixth disc in the series. Or, also used in this picture
