8 canines surrounding a poor whittle kitty. I decided last night I wanted to draw a couple dogs of peoples and then kept adding to the list. At the same time I wanted to draw Dianakitty so...this is what I decided.

ITo get a feeling of depth in the image, try shading parts of the characters face (difficult) and body (lot easier). If that seems too much work, you can do a lot by showing the eyes from a slightly different angle - but the shape will have to be very precise. So far, your eye shape is always the same, but the inclination and aspect ratio actually change depending on viewing angle. Definitely a good initial picture, though.
