It's All Over Now
It’s All Over Now
Angelic blankets of snow fall around me
As I first meet eyes with you.
You come over to me of free will
Which makes me wonder why.
Six months later,
You smile only for me
The smell of your cologne
Sooths my sense,
Making me want you forever.
A year later
We’re still together
But somehow you’ve changed.
I see it in your eyes
It makes me want to cry
Even if you don’t smile only for me
You’re here even if you hate it
All you have to do is wait it out
Until I want to leave
I feel it in your cold-hearted embrace.
Yesterday you’re gone for good,
Making me want to die.
I want to run and hide from it all.
I want to never see you again
But I will never let you get that from me
I will never let you see how much you hurt me.
So when tomorrow comes I’ll be all right
Just know I’ll love but hate you forever.
