This was a paid commission for my client's friend, as she wanted to surprise her friend upon her graduation day with a portrait of her OC. The description for this character is somewhat of a 'drow' + 'vampire', hence the dark skin tone and the pointed ears.
I had fun painting this because I could go really weird and dark with the overall atmosphere. I also wanted to give her a slender anatomy to create an aristocratic vibe for her character, since she is like some kinda mystical, dark vampire
Done in Photoshop CS, 6 hours (2 layers) Referenced on lighting.

Very nice. However I think it looks more like a native americain than a vampire. that's just my opinion though based upon the skin tone and face structure.
