Raion Mini-chapter: Life as A Jinchuuriki




Raion shuffled home, once again, she was picked on by her team mates, while her sensei cheered them on. When she opened the door, her mother was making dinner, her brothers practising jutsu outside and her father reading a newspaper at the table. She threw her headband and bag on the table and sulked upstairs. Her father watched her do this, he then reached across the table for her headband. Once again, Dimi and Tori, twins of their rival clan, the Asagi’s, had once again scratched in big letters across her headband, FREAK. He sighed and went upstairs. He opened Raion’s door to find her sitting on her bed, throwing kunai’s aimlessly at targets etched across her room. Walking over and putting his arms rounnd her, he asked her, “What’s the matter?”.

“You know what’s the matter…..” She replied. He sighed and looked at the back of her neck. There it was, the seal that kept Yamata No orochi inside her, the source of her problems. “ You don’t have to let them do it, raion.” He said, trying to comfort her, “ You can always fight back…. you’re the pride of the Daiteru clan and the grass village. They’re mere genin, your almost Jounin.”

“ If I try, Suijen-Sensei will stop me…”

“Then I’ll talk to him about it.” Raion looked at her father, Daiteru Rumina, the only sannin in the village, was the second strongest shinobi in the village.

The next day, Raion and her father walked to the kusa’s bridge where Dimi, Tori and Suijen were waiting. “ You’re an hour…” He stopped when he saw Rumina. “ Rumina-Sama” He stammered out whilst bowing.

“ Suijen-konhai, I’d like a word with you.”

“Of course, just let me explain their mission” he turned towards the three and explained their mission. It was cleaning out a garden. Once they had started, Dimi and tori soon grew bored, so they started flinging manure at raion. She blocked it easily, but it was still horrible. Knowing that they wouldn’t we able to hit her, the twins began to shout insults at her.

“Your so weak, you just defend yourself!”

“You call yourself a shinobi! My cat can fight better than you!”

“Your entire Clan’s weak, Including your father!”

“You fight your own battles, you get your father to fight them for you!”

The seal on the back of her neck began to pulse. “Are you going to do anything about them….?” Said a voice coming from inside her head.

“ I can’t…. I’m not allowed….”

“well if your not going to… I will!” Suddenly, a huge power took control of raion’s Body, It soon began to seal and make snakes, she was running towards them, a devilish grin on her face, shooting snakes from everywhere. They both screamed unable to fend of the attack, snakes biting at them, they knew no jutsu to cure snake-bites. Soon after they fell to the floor covered in blood. Raion slowly got control back over her body. She stood there, eyes wide at the damage she had caused. The seal was pulsing more than ever, sending waves of pain. Raion then collapsed, Unable to stand the pain.

When she woke up, she was lying on her bed. She lay awake, listening to the birds outside. Her seal was pulsing again. An hour later, her father opened the door and came in. he sat on the edge of her bed, looking into her eyes. “ They want….” His eyes were full of tears as he spoke. “ They want to kill you Raion. Because you can’t control Orochi. But, we won’t let them, your mother, me, Sui and Ginnosuke will fight to the death to defend you. They’re coming to collect you tonight. Were going to fight back.” With that, he left.

Later on, there was a knock at the door, “give us raion” said a tall man with pale skin and a long tongue, “and no one will get hurt.” The four of them put on their headband and had kunais at the ready. And so the battle ensued. Her Mother was the first to fall, cradled in her father’s arms she whispered, “don’t let them get Raion.” her brother Ginnosuke was next, “always the smart one….” Said his brother crying as his best friend passed away. Sui began to rush at his brothers killer with lightning speed, But, his oppenent was none other the the kusakage, Head of the village. Sui fell down and whispered “short time no see, brother….”now it Was just Rumina, his hands working at light speed to stay alive. The man with pale skin then pulled out a sword and ran at him, he drove it straight through his chest. Raion dashed down at held her dying father. He began to whisper, “raion, Take this” he tugged at necklace and handed it to raion “the key opens a chest in the basement” He coughed up some blood, looking Raion In the eyes he whispered “ Forgive me…” and he passed away. Raion Stood Up. Green chakra was encircling her body. She ran at the pale skinned man with lighting speed. She threw fearsome punches, kicks and jutsus. She began to create giant snakes from the ground, smaler one from her hands and very small ones from her wounds to heal her. Soon, only one man stood in her way. She ran at him, intent on only one thing, taking the weapon that killed her father. It din’t take long for the man to realise her goal. He threw the sword at her and fled. Raion collapsed of exhaustion.









Afterwards, when Raion had opened the chest A letter said that she should work with orochi, and fulfil her true power as a Shinobi. Together, Raion and orochi would be un-stoppable. So Raion Began To Train, learning to use the sword, The sword named Kusangi.
