Longing for my Memories

I miss you memories of the past
Why weren’t you made to last?
Thinking of how much I want you back
Missing the way you all fell in track
Visions of the younger days
Maybe this is just a phase
And if so I want to know why
I have no reason, but to end this with a sigh
Just put my memories back in place
So they can lay still in my mind as if in a case
Now till the end I want to be alone
To think of the memories I used to own

This is a poem I made with the thought of old memories on my mind. Lately, me and my best friend have been talking about our old memories of where we used to live and what we used to do together when we were younger. I sure miss those days.
Well, hope you all enjoy
