[Elementals: Smogbird Concept]

Belching smoke, leaking fog, the pale and ugly smogbird wanders over his filthy kingdom. By touch and scent, he picks through the garbage and litter that surrounds him to find the lifeless body of a sea gull, suffocated by a six-pack's plastic rings. Seizing the rotting carcass in his oily beak, he greedily gulps it down. A burst of flame erupts from the pipes on his bony back as the bird is instantly digested; he gurgles triumphantly before trudging on to scavenge more meat. He is blind to the suffering he causes his fellow animals, and deaf to their dying cries. He is a monster that plagues the land, from his greasy, ruffled feathers to the disease-ridden claws on his cracked yellow feet. As long as there is life, the smogbird will live to destroy it

It kind'v evolved from a doodle into this. A real posey picture of him is coming soon, along with the other four birds.

Smogbird represents the human element.

It's not that I'm anti-human (okay maybe a lil), or a tree hugger at all (I LIKE MY MCDONALDS, DARNIT) Heck, I spit gum onto sidewalks and surreptitiously sneak popsicle and sucker sticks out the car window. I don't even care that we're killing ourselves and our world, really. It's sad that that's what most people feel like, and why Earth is not going to be saved.

Well, anyways, I was starting some tiny elemental project. I really do like the smogbird's design. Him and the earth/plant one (who ought to be on the verge of death, but naw.)

Smogbird the the only one who has eyes 'cept he's blind, and he's the only one who can't fly. Wow, this description sucks. I fail at being poetic. xD
