A photo I got of "SweetPea" today before taking her to Debby Sweet of Short N Sweet dog rescue. This dog was picked up by an animal control officer here in Bakersfield, literally a walking skeleton. She has been bred into the ground by some uncaring person out there. She is at the very least 10 years old, has no teeth left (hence why she can't keep her tongue in her mouth), has warts all over her body from whomever owned her letting skin infections go untreated, she has cataracts from old age, a broken tail, ripped of toe nail, and not an ounce of muscle or body fat. BUT in spite of all her aesthetic problems, she has the most wonderful personality! She is the biggest lover, very well mannered, and just a joy to have around.
This is the reality of the dog rescue world.

That dog was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch a sweetie.. Ah, I loved her. She just loved to be scratched on the hips. Haha, I'm gonna miss her when she goes to Debby.
