It's technically a traditional piece, it's just been spiffed up in photoshop.
Anyway this is an older sketch I had scanned and it was just sitting on my computer, waiting patiently for me to do something with it.
As you may have noticed, it's based of D&D and seems to have a mixture of different species.
It has smaller wings and can only fly or glide for short distances because of it's sheer weight. Though when on ground, this dragon is like a tank of pure muscle and powerful dark magic.
Don't get on its bad side.
One thing I wish I had done different was make the scale render lighter >_<

That scaly texture you put on it kind of destroys the 3d effect of the shading.
