Well, my best friend since kindergarten went away to summer camp for a month. I drew a picture of her... Referenced a photo.
Well, the phrase needs a little explaining. You see, by all outward appearances, Rachel seems to be a normal, semi-popular teenage girl. You know, the kind that you could pull out of any old public highschool. But no. Get to know her, and you learn that she's some kind of weird mutant. She eats really really strange things and buys weird food-products just to try them (i.e., she bought me the Jones Soda Holiday Pack... which is pure evil). She also enjoys mixing different things she finds in the back of the fridge... and then making me eat them.
When the actual photograph was taken, she was lying on the floor behind some weird gummis she bought. They were supposed to look like mexican food. REALLY WEIRD, FRUITY-SMELLING MEXICAN FOOD. The "chili-con-carne" was pretty good, though. It was spongey, but it tasted like Hawaiian Punch.

Ahhh, its a good practice to draw from a photo isn't it. It always makes the pose come out perfectly, and with good style adaptation can improve the picture immensely. Very well-made, and the backstory makes her sound like an interesting person. Almost like my older sister, especially with the food things.
