To explain, William's original appearance is actually a yellow cat (my memory's not clear on his appearance so I need some help). His profile is in the official website and this is just part of it:
William Greenback is an incurable gambler cat on the run from his creditors! He takes refuge into Bon Bon, a mysterious town full of vices and depravations! As unluck wills, he ends inside a brothel/casino where he'll get involved in the sexiest gamble in all his life.
