Here's the first half of the two-part fanart I'm working on.
Colouring this piece was a bit of a hassle because I used openCanvas to colour it instead of Photoshop. Let me just tell you, the watercolor tool of oC is a bitch to work with and get used to, but it works wonders.
I really hate how I painted the buckle and the zipper, so I'll redo that once I'm done with the second half of the fanart. And his eye's too big, so I'll try and fix that too later.
The ink splatter brush I used for the background was from
Ivy Photography.

The watercolour tools can be annoying in oC yeah~ but totally, it shows how awesome they are when you get the hang of them here. And his headband is so shiney and real-looking. Very pretty~
I'm so missing him in the comic right now :/ need more Sai~
