Bred from: The origin of the Centien race is unknown.
Life span: At average they live around 150 - 200 years.
Colors: Centien are multicolored black, dark browns, and reds are common. Blues and silver have been seen.
Markings: The underbelly of the Centien is a different color; usually darker, than the rest of the body. The insect like legs are pale colors and the normal skin parts range from normal human skin tones to ghoulish white.
Diet: Centien have been known to consume almost every other race that exists around them. Although a pact has been established between many Centien tribes to stop their barbaric eating habits, many more wild individuals choose not to conform to these “restrictionsâ€.
Culture: Centien are a feared race due to their power and high intelligence. They prosper by establishing trade with other colonies throughout Laynair. Although some of their merchandise is quite questionable. They form strong bonds within their families and are excellent crafters.
Government: Some Centien are conforming under a new governmental group called the Lyric. Although most stay strong to their roots and keep within their close knit social colonies. Each colony has some sort of leader to keep in contact with all of the other colonies. There is one head master that keeps the population in a whole in check.
Personality: Most Centien have a natural ‘trickster’ nature, they are very sneaky and tend to talk their way in or out of anything. They are a very seductive race towards other races they deem as ‘prey’.
Body Description: Their facial structure resembles a humans but their jaws are more flexible. Some individuals have spikes running up their jaw line. Most have human like hair. They have long fangs that are packed with various types of venom. At the tip of their tails are spike like protrusions which also contain poison. Some have hard plating on their skulls and all have two horn like antennae extending from their skulls. The plating on their shoulders and biceps are normally spiky yet very smooth to the touch. Their body is covered with three types of skin: human-like flesh covers their face and forearms although it is much thicker than a normal humans, hard scale like hide covers their underbellies and an even tougher hide covers their backs and shoulders. The most noticeable feature of the Centien; and often the most frightening to arachnophobics, are their many insect like legs that line their long plated bodies. The first two insect legs are different than the rest. The first are folded like a mantis for grabbing prey mostly, and the second are longer than the rest used to support their upper torso. They may have upwards to 30 insect legs. They move in a centipede like fashion and are very quick. Both males and females have two sets of reproductive organs, one in between the first set of insect legs and another towards the middle of their bodies. They are capable of mating with other similar races including Skryne, Parite, Sentient, some forms of Archwing and humans.
Normal Height: The full length of their bodies can reach up to 40 feet but their torso’s reach off the ground at around 6 - 9 feet.
