I decided to make a couple hover bike concept art for Sobakasu's Blvd square. These are just concepts and it is up to her if she wants to use them for more information about blvd square check out Sobakasu's contest journal (http://www.sheezyart.com/journal/328547/)

heeey pretty cool, what kind of reference are you using? Suggestions for right now is that some of the parts are hard to read (I'm having trouble figuring out what certain shapes are). I like the top one the best but I'd like to some more additions to it b/c it seems unbalanced in shape, the silhouette is nice thus far. The bottom one is great but it's too close to a motorbike, it's a generic design and very common, which is totally fine :) cuz it works as a hover bike, but I'd stick to the first one and work on spiffin that one up :)

So some ways to go about that is to research hovercrafts...I should upload the hoverbikes I did for a project this past spring. But how I went about coming up with a design was to research and understand how a hover craft works...when you understand that then you can construct a believable design. So for the top one all I see is a place where the engine would be but where are the parts that would actually make the craft hover? I'll submit my hover sketches for ya :)

But great start! please keep working on these and refining them, also (if you didn't already) you should always sketch out the real thing first before diving into creating something from imagination, so go draw hovercrafts from reference, they have diagrams showing how hovercrafts are built and work, a great place for reference images is www.corbis.com :)
