Ok, this is a closer (still cruddy) digi pic of what I'm working on...and yes, you can see the salt! And yes, salt does wonderful stuff w/ watercolor. Waxpaper, alcohol, gum arabic, plastic wrap, soap, crayon (yes! tho' my daughter didn't forgive me when I ran off with her crayolas...lucky, I bought her a new set and she forgave me instantly! Dibbuns, gotta love 'em) and I'm constantly experimenting with what I can/can't do w/ watercolor...
BTW, now that I've totally fogged everyones' brain on "blahblahblah"...this is mix media; water color, colored & watercolor pencil, gouache and acrylic. Everything on my desk.
