Can't believe I did not submit this. It's been rotting in my DA account for ages. It's.. a hard to pin down image I must admit but there's deep meanings in and out of there with my own alleged twist pinching the thing together.

This is the Star of Bethlehem yes... but it is also the Sephiroth (NOT the video game character, ding dongs, the Tree of Life in the Kabbalah). The words are akin to the Tarot cards (i.e. Life means the Priestess, Power means the Empress). They are changed because that's how they sat in my dreams (don't ask).

This was driven partially by my dreams, which in turn drive my novel, Virangelus (thus my name). The Sephiroth is supposed to express ultimate knowledge in all things esoteric and often enough, crosses boundaries with all that is magickal and forbidden, passed on to us by fallen angels amongst ourselves. I don't know about all of that... but I really think the Philosopher's Stone is very obvious to us and we fail to look it in face sometimes.
