This one took over 60 hours of work, last two days I worked 12 hours a day straight on this thing.
I kinda liked how this guy turned out, I wanted to go something heavy for this one, so I took advantage of my 7th string :)
Also added this 'funky' part to the song to release tension from the heavy parts. That was recorded with my Strat'.
Well, it might not be the average song, but hey, try to enjoy something different. If you don't headbang to the heavy part, groove out to the funky one. (I personally like both).
Played nearly everything here, guitar, bass, and some of the percussion. I recorded those claps, snaps, and misc instruments. I know I'm not good at bass, but bear with me hehe.

The song kicks ass...not only in the length, in the playing as well. But all good playing is nothing withoug good overall sound. Sadly, this tune does not have a good overall sound... :/
The distortion is flat like hell, rhythm and leads bothways. Bass is too loud in the final mix, the drums are waaaay to weak. :/ This could have been soo good...but it's not...so I just wanna kick you in the faic right now! >: (
Sry for beeing a bitch about this but all I see here is that you waste time. 60 hours of work but a poor mix in the end isn't worth it...sigh...oh well, you still get my yes and fav.

Your opening riff is reminding me VERY strongly of Dream Theater's "New Millennium"...do you listen to them by any chance? The first minute or two definitely remind me of Dream Theater and again towards the end, although it resembles them less as you get further in.
