I really wanted to submit this before I left, because if I didn't now, I probably never would have.
This picture I've had sitting around for I don't know how long, and I had the idea for it rattling around in my brain for even longer than that. That being said, this has taken me quite a long time to complete, and I'm very proud of it. It's not perfect (not by a long shot), but I still really like it.

Part of the reason I like it is because it just gave me a chance to depict Rae as something other than the hard-hearted, hard-headed loner that she is. Everybody assumes that's what she's like because of how she acts, but what if they really knew her? What if they could see all the trials and hurt she's experienced?

And this concept doesn't just apply to Rae, but everybody. How well do we really know the people around us? The people we call friends?


Anyway, I'm going to stop trying to be profound, cause I'm sure it's not working.
I hope you enjoy this a fraction as much as I do.
