What is the meaning of this word, friend?
Isn't it someone who stays with you till the end?
A person who stays by your side,
Someone who with metual trust, who would never lie.

Or is it someone who uses you until you're no good
To uses you then throw you out to the dogs for food?
Friends art not backstabers who fill you with pain
Or are they?
I no longer know.
Aren't they the ones who make the pain fade away?
Tell me please
For I no longer know.

Perhaps the meaning has changed since my short time on earth
If so, if the meaning of friend is now "Backstaber"
I need no friends I need no compainions.
Tell me when the meaning has changed again, my "Friend."
