rapunzel's tower - concept

a concept for rapunzel's steampunk tower! (explanation of the ongoing rapunzel stuff --> http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/54825972/ )

my next 3D project is to model a games environment, which is going to be a big room inside this tower (featuring lots of cogs n mechanisms! ) - so i just needed to get a better idea of what the tower looked like from the outside before starting on that :)

oh! and it doesn't drag itself along the ground! the hydraulics in the legs lift up and then it can bend each of them up and down / forwards and back, so it can walk! (i know the hydraulics have nowhere to go in the legs...bascially this is a look-and-feel pic, so i'm not too worried that they don't quite work right )

drawn with my 0.7 (i think), B, mechanical pencil, then coloured with photoshop (as i didn't have a grey or brown sketchpad to use ;_; )
