Rikdo Osaka's Note: Alright, this is a short that came into my mind recently and i thought I'll write about it because I think it's very funny short. Anyways, I'll be using Sarah and Roy are the main characters in story and i must warm you that is short for a reason.

Day with Roy Mustang

Sarah Elric looked over her small book again to see if she was at the right place since the area she was in was nowhere a woman should be at night or day for that matter. She sighed looking at the nameplate on the door that told her that this where Mustang lives. She knocked on the door a few times and waited for the colonel to answer the door. After a minutes of waiting, she knocked on the door again and still no answer was coming so she did the next best thing – she used alchemy. She looked around the room once she opened the door and didn't find Roy anymore.

'Man, where could he of gone too.. First he calls me up telling me he had some important news for me then i come over and he's not here.' she thought with a sigh.

“I'm right here, Fullmetal!” Roy called out from the room in the left.

Sarah sighed as she entered the room when she blushed bight red at what she was seeing. There was Roy standing there with no shirt showing off his body as he sat on what looked like a bed. Sarah turned around still blushing from what she saw right now.

“Why didn't you tell me you weren't wearing a shirt?” Sarah demeaned.

“My, i never seen you blush like that..” Roy said smiling a bit.

Sarah rolled her eyes and then asked, “I asked again: Why didn't you tell me you weren't wearing a shirt?”

“Well, I wanted to see your reaction to see your colonel without a shirt and i have to say that it was priceless.” Roy laughed making Sarah mad and thought about changing the subjust

“To get to the point.. what are the important things you wanted to talk to me about?” Sarah asked, hopping he would put his shirt back on.

Roy put on a white shirt and said, “I'll tell you once we get to The Endless Blossom.”

“The bar? Aren't I to young to be drinking?” Sarah asked, raising an eyebrow at him.

“Don't worry, I'm not going to let my favorite short State Alchemist drinking to much.” Roy joked getting a pissed off look from Sarah but calmed herself down.

“Very funny, let's just go before I punch you or something.” said Sarah leaving the room and the house so she could wait for him outside.

.................................. At The Endless Blossom................


Roy and Sarah entered the bar and headed to the barman corner – also getting looks from the people because of Sarah. She, on the other hand , ignored them and took a seat at the corner as Roy waited for the barman to ask him what kind of drink he wanted.

“Sooo, what is is that you wanted talk to me that's so important that I had to go to your place for?” Sarah asked wanting an answer from him.

“Ah, Mustang, welcome back. The usual?” the bar man asked when he noticed Sarah. “Aren't you a little underage to be here?”

Roy smiled and waved his hand and said, “Don't worry, I'll make sure she won't drink to much...”

“I see... what would you like, young lady?” the bar man asked as Sarah thought about it.

“I'll have the same thing he ordered...” said Sarah not reallying knowing about the names of the drinks.

“Ahhh... wise choice, young lady, it's not as strong as my other drinks.” the barman said getting to work on making their drinks.

“Now can you answer my question?” Sarah said looking at Roy.

“I never had any important to begin with...” Roy laughed.

Sarah raised and an eyebrow and then asked, “Then why the hell did you tell me to come anyways!”

Everyone at the bar was looking at Sarah, causing her to feel very small then she already is. Roy Mustang laughed a bit and the bar man finally bought over their orders before going to work in the back room.

“Drink up...” Roy said as he took a sip of his own drink.

'I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it..” Sarah thought as she took a sip to see how it taste. “Eww.. it tastes awful..” she said.

“You'll get used to the taste.... Roy said taking another sip. “Anyways, how have you and Al been doing these days?”

“Fine.. yesterday Al's cat, Rolly, ruined the couch so I had to fix it with alchemy.” Sarah said, laughing at the thought and took a few more sips until she got used to it.

Roy laughed and they started talk about other matters mostly related to topics like their futures and what they will do after they find the Stone so she can bring Al's body back. After they ran out of topics to talk about, they payed and left the bar and headed outside.

.......... Roy's Place.........

Sarah and Roy finally make it back to Roy's place and from there, Sarah left to go back to her apartment and see how Al and their cat are doing. Sarah would remember this day for the rest of the life since she saw Roy in a new light.
