I used to always look at all the signs on the road when driving, and thing of them as a complete insult to all that was outdoors. I saw them as a scar on the landscape. But one night on a trip home, I noticed how nice everything looks, the lights of other cars, the contrast of light to dark, even the green signs off the road. This is a memorial to that insight.
