Pinata of PAIN

First of all, I am now declaring myself Master of the Most Random Shit to Ever be Created, EVER, and I'm putting my name on the line to anyone who would want to challenge that name, because you know what, YOU AIN'T WINNIN IT BITCHES

ANYWAYS, I forgot to upload this, but I finished it a couple months ago This was my major project for art class, I started it in October and finished it in like May or something, I forget, BUT EVERY SINGLE BIT OF PAPER WAS CUT BY HAND, MY OWN TWO HANDS, so that took the majority of the time lol

Anyways, the project was supose to be a political statement, so I chosed the little heated debate about the Mexican border, because building a wall around our border is the most retarded idea in the history of man

So I decided to make a pinata, BY HAND, which is why the body is in the colors of the Mexican flag, and the skull is painted in a traditional Dais las Muertas style, but I also wanted to make a beating stick in the colors of the American flag with the words "Via con Dios" writen on it, and the final piece would show a person about to break the pinata open with the stick, however, I did not have time to make the stick, but if I ever do, I'll submit the final version aswell :3

THE PROCESS:

The body, head, and neck were all normal cardboard boxes, but since I love my oragami, I folded the head and neck to give them their shape, and let me tell you, cardboard is not easy to fold lol

After I made the body, I added the ears and legs, then I paper mached it to give it strength. The body is covered in hundreds of little colored pieces tissued paper, and any part that wasn't covered with paper, was painted with acrylic paint

Anyways, I loved making this, it was so fun, it took way to long to make, but it was worth it

Also if you see spelling errors in this description, ignore them, I just had 3 cups of coffee after two weeks of being cafeiene free, so I'm a bit unfocused *God damn kidnies*
