Assignment: Animate a floursack expressing 2 emotions for 30 seconds. (Being sneeky counts as like "expressing") Use shadow, drop the floursack in from the top of the screen and use a 9 field.
I dunno, I don't think I'm cut out to be an animator. Or at least not a traditional animator. It's pretty choppy, not very creative (action wise) and not done well. My only excuse: I was just trying to get it done before it was due, so I cut corners and stuck with simple stuff.
Btw, the line testers are all crappy, hence the angle of the paper. Also the end was just to make it run for 30 seconds (excluding the titles).

This is further than I ever got in animation class. After so many assignments of drawing flour sacks--and various other objects--falling, I snapped and quit. You may not be pleased with this, but I quite liked the character expressed, especially in the shifty glances this way and that. One critique I have is that the size of the flour sack doesn't seem quite consistent throughout the animation--particularly, when the sack is lying down, it seems smaller than when it is placed upright.

This is amazing work.
