I had to illustrate a Chinese tale about a fenghuang (roughly a chinese version of the phoenix)that carried a boy across the sea to an island full of gold and silver.
Asian tales are sort of the nicest to listen to... Wow, and detail on the feathers well put! I dig the view and how you drew the tailfeathers...beautiful. Oh, also the background looks great too, with the clouds around the island. Mysterious!
