I found this sketch on a notebook of mine from my sophomore year in high school. The night before I drew it, I actually went outside and listened to some music under the stars. It's a great way to relax. And I still do this routinely as I find I get stressed out more and more. Originally, 'he' was going to be a 'she', but Mitch said, "hey, guys can appreciate music and stars, too." Thus this guy was created.
Recently, a friend of mine has been going through some heartbreak with her family. And every time I think of her, I keep thinking of the night we chose what song would be our "life's-theme-song". She chose Stars All Seem to Weep, and me... well, I'm still undeclared (five years later, heh). So I dedicate this one to her (or to anyone who could use a break) and I hope she can find some comfort somewhere.
